A visit of Mr. le Wali concerning the distribution of food aid to the Comoros community
As part of the national mobilization of solidarity to address the effects and repercussions of the spread of the Corona virus, and in coordination with the Chamber of Commerce and Services of Laâyoune Sakia El Hamra, the Association of Laâyoune Sakia El Hamra took the decision to make a donation in the form of food aid to the community of the United Republic of the Comoros located in Laâyoune.
This humanitarian initiative was supervised by the Governor of Laayoune Sakia El Hamra, Abdessalam Bikrat, and the President of the General of the State of the Comoros, who handed over 150 food baskets, including basic products worth 500 dirhams per person.

For his part, the Consul General of the United Republic of the Comoros expressed his gratitude and thanks to the Chamber of Commerce and Services of the region, local authorities and elected councils of the region for their efforts to support his community of Laayoune to mitigate the effects and repercussions of the Corona pandemic crisis, which reflects the quality of relations between Morocco and the United Republic of the Comoros, affirming, moreover, that the Consulate and members of the Comorian community, as well as all precautionary measures and actions undertaken by local authorities and elected councils in the region, particularly those related to the Kingdom’s decision to declare a state of health emergency, to limit the spread of the new Corona epidemic.
