Holding of the General Assembly of the Chamber and unanimous adoption of the agenda
The General Assembly of the Chamber held, Friday, October 29, 2021, at the headquarters of the Chamber in Laayoune, its second session of the year 2021, under the chairmanship of Mr. Khalil Ouled Errachid. The agenda of the session included a debate on the following three main topics
- Creation of committees and definition of the mandate.
- Study and adoption of the rules of procedure.
- Study and adoption of the code of conduct.
Four committees were created, two of which were standing committees and two proposed by the Bureau. The General Assembly approved the two standing committees: the Committee on Economic and Social Affairs and the Committee on Financial and Budgetary Affairs.
The General Assembly also created two additional committees: the Committee on Customs Relations and the Committee on Services and Tourism.
The constitution of the committees was approved and their terms of reference defined. Finally, the Chamber’s code of conduct was discussed and approved.
After the unanimous approval of all the items on the agenda, the session ended with the recitation of a letter of allegiance and dedication to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God bless and sustain him. The meeting was adjourned at 11:58 a.m.
