General Assembly Meeting at the Laâyoune Chamber of Commerce and Industry: Enhancing the role of businesses and local partnerships

The Laâyoune Sakia El Hamra Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services held a meeting on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the chamber’s meeting room, chaired by Mr. Sidi Khalil Ould Errachid, with chamber members and external service representatives in attendance.

Also present were the Regional Director of the Skills Development and Mobilization Agency, a representative from the Commercial Entrepreneur House, and Wafabank.

The meeting discussed several key points on the agenda, including:

• Chamber activities between sessions.
• Presentation of the services of the National Employment and Skills Promotion Agency.
• The Commercial Entrepreneur House and Wafabank.

The meeting highlighted several challenges and questions about the entrepreneurial sector and its support by relevant institutions, seeking radical solutions as much as possible.

Additionally, the National Employment and Skills Promotion Agency presented its role in processing candidate files, training project carriers, and supporting small and medium-sized entrepreneurs.
